Well given the issues with the bullets, we may want any of our bullets be a composite or alloy. Lead with silver mixed in. Just a suggestion.

silver tipped maybe. Silver plating is not that hard to do, it's just a matter of making it survive the force of being shot, but that would still be doable

Well, I'm not really an expert on guns, though I do enjoy them. But uh......yes. XD

Hows about using silver pellets in shotgun shells? Shrinkage wouldn't be a problem, and they'd still be pretty powerful I reckon.

where, there is an experimental military round that was featured on a CSI Miami episode. (I may have that wrong, the military round is true)
Basically, the actual bullet is pellets suspended in some sort of 'glue' or 'fixative' that is designed to shatter upon hitting flesh. I can't remember all the details, but it can survive being fired and remains whole until hitting the skin where it breaks apart and keeps going. I was thinking the pellets could be silver or silverplate.... Or we can go all 'Underworld' and use silver nitrate bullets.

I believe your refering to the Hydra round or in street terms refered to as the "Cop Killer" they punch through body armor and than become like a hollow point exploding on impact with flesh.

yeah, that sounds right. That might be too deadly, tho. I mean, you can have a solid bullet dug out, but the fragments aren't going anywhere. the vamp/lycan will just keep reacting to the silver until they die! which is cool if you actually want to kill them, but I guessing that we want to keep our RP characters alive.
