Hey, tharr Sammich, I has a question. For the werewolf gene, can there be different strains of it ? Coz, I was hoping to make my character's transformation just a larger version of a regular wolf. Plus, it would show the different areas of where werewolves live as well. aaaand if you think this is a bad idea, lemme know.

I has teh same question. What if we just want wolf and human forms, not the man-wolf thing going on.

Yes, I had brought up a similar issue on the original topic that this formed from. Let me just dig it out... Anyway, Is there any specifications on the werewolves? For example, Are they able to change from man to wolf, or is it just man to extremel-hairy-man? Can they change at will? Are there mutations, such as wolves who become men, etc? Will it be an instant change over, or take a couple of minutes? Will a full moon cause them to change instantly? These could be just different genes, affected by parentage. Such as: What if 2 werewolves mate? Another werewolf is born. But what if a werewolf mates with a human...?

I wrote in my character's profile that she was unaware of an any humanoid-wolf form and can only change into a wolf, but I am willing to change that. But the way I set my character up it is believable.

I'd prefer my character only to have a wolf form. Her family was living in the woods away from everything. They didn't even know about the Truce between the races, so there were vampires out there who still have wolf slaves, but the ones that made the truce wouldn't know that. Plus, that's how I saw a werewolf anyway. Double the size of a regular wolf, anyway. Not this man-wolf thingy.

Well, the original werewolves were humanoid wolf things, like the ones you see in Underworld (or, say, Talbain from Darkstalkers). But I guess you're talking about the kind that they use in Blood and Chocolate.
But here: I'll make it so that there were original clans of werewolves a long time ago, though they went out of existence, save for their modern ancestors who share their abilities. One clan turned into large wolves, the other turned into humanoid wolves.
I'll add that to the profile and, for Dara's sake as well as any others who are a bit confused on their abilities, I'll try to be a bit more clear.
