((I put up a guide to posting to 003. A little late, it seems.))
It was getting pretty crowded near the doors, and 003 didn't want to get stepped on. A tallish man said something about people and a mine, but he didn't really understand it.
The white one said something to him and reached down to him as he popped up from the floor. Now near his full height, he was nearly a head taller than her, and he could appreciate how small she really was.
"Please, you not hurt."
Did she think he was going to hurt her? He did nearly knock into her. He backed off and held his front feet out to the sides. Moving near the wall, he squeezed by her and tried not to look intimidating.
He looked back over his shoulder for Kay, and to see what the little white-haired thing would do.
She nodded at him and so he nodded back at her. She turned to go, so he turned back to the food.
Seeing what other people had done, he managed pretty well at geetting himself a tray. All the food smelled excellent, what was in front of him and all the smells coming from the back.
The person behind the counter spoke strangely and impatiently, and he had no idea what she was saying. He looked to Kay for help again.
---
Once they'd managed to get through the adventure of ordering food, 003 took his tray and looked around the room for a place to sit. Seeing an opportunity for another game, he raised his tray and balanced it on his head. He tottered off down the room, passing different groups of people. As he reached a likely spot, he bent down, keeping his head up, and used his front feet to slide the tray onto the tabletop. He beamed back at Kay, looking for approval.

(( A note to anyone who misunderstood any of my previous posts, Tarius is not currently in wolf form, he only fancied turning into it. ))
Tarius blew out another sigh while looking at the people. He wasn't sure who the white hair girl was addressing, so he didn't bother answering (other than chuckling slightly at her poor command of English).
He barreled down the hall towards the elevator, thinking about how misplaced he was. All the people here, goodly and so innocent, were a new setting for him. Too new, perhaps? He shook his head. Some sleep should do the trick... he thought. And so to his room he went.
As he entered, he noticed some new stuff in the room, including the Buddha statuette. His shoulders slumped as he considered having a roommate, since he had hoped to be alone. Sighing, he took off his coat and threw it over a chair. Soon enough, he way laying in bed, casually playing with his black pendant.

"Si, off course! Nice to meet you." Said the girl.
Sebastian smiled and sat down at the table, his food settling down in front of him.
"I'm Otsanda, dat's Afred and Vincent." She gestured to the skeletal man and the pale man, who Sebastian hadn't seen yet. "What's your name?"
"Sebastian Crowley." He smiled, putting out a hand for a shake. When the other two did the same, as Sebastian shook Otsanda's hand, they were met with a handshake as well. The strange thing was that there was no hand to be seen, despite the feeling of a hand grasping theirs.
When he saw the looks on their faces, he was confused at first, then remembered. "Oh...er...sorry about that. Force of habit." He absentmindedly pushed a showing bandage on his arm back into his jacket sleeve.

Dawa was pleased that Three didn't seem hurt, but was confused when he seemed to shrink back against the wall. Was he trying to avoid her? But why? she wasn't going to hurt him. She was small and he was not. Was he afraid of hurting her? It was true that he did look freakish, but something about him seemed almost cuddly and playful.
"I am glad you are not hurt." she said a little more carefully than she had earlier. She wasn't so nervous and took the extra effort to enunciate a little better. Her accent was still thick, but at least she was understandable. "I'm not hurt, you're not hurt, then life is good. Just be careful" she added with a smile. She gave a little nod to Kay, Three, and Monkey as she continued down the hall to return to her room.
After the commotion at the dining hall, the elevator ride suddenly didn't seem so scary to her. She was cheerful for the rest of of the walk. She entered her dorm room and jumped at the surprise of seeing Tarius laying on the bed opposite of hers. She wasn't quite sure what she expected when she returned to her room, but definitely had not expected to see a man rooming with her. she was comfortable sleeping in the same room as the monks, but they were like father figures to her. This man was certainly no monk and the blushing of her face certainly displayed the thought.
"oh!" she said with surprise, then with an unsure tone she added, "Hello... I, uh...."
She didn't know what to say. She just slowly shut the door and stood there for a moment then quickly sat on the bed looking away from him. She figited with the beads around her wrist.
((oh, I love to do posts like this! Thank god for language barriers causing misunderstandings, lol. oh, and I read your post about three. I'll be a little more mindful about what I write about him. And sorry isacus, i guess I didn't read your post well enough. my bad. I'll be more careful.))

Tarius couldn't help but grin as soon as the girl turned away from him. He was incredibly amused by her surprise and clear uncomfort. He was, tough, as surprised as she was to see a female was his room mate. But he figured he'll have to live with it, so he should just make the best of it. One thing baffled him, tough. He had absolutely no idea what she was. Clearly not a vampire or werewolf, or undead. In fact, the only thing she looked like was a human. He turned to her "Hello." and with a smirk, he added "I'm Tarius Dayne. Pleased to meet you." He offered his hand, but the evil grin on his face was less than inviting. ((No problem, really. ))

003 sat down at the table and sort of rocked back and forth, waiting for Kay and Hand Some Monkey to join him. He had never eaten in this way, with other people, before. In the lab he lived alone in his chamber, and was fed periodically. When he lived out in the city he took what he could and ate when he got it. Since being taken to the Eyohey, spent time in the labs with Pawleeoh and some others, but they just brought food to him. Most of that food wasn't very good, he thought maybe they were trying to see what he could survive eating. Which, it turned out, was a lot.
He looked down at the tray in front of him, and it smelled much better. He had ended up just looking to Kay to order for him, and he just nodded, agreeing to every suggestion. When she hesitated, he'd just point to the tray, until finally it was full. But now he had to worry about what he was expected to do. They had handed him some metal things like the knives they had been shown earlier. Was he supposed to fight the food? It didn't look very scary. It didn't smell scary either.
He was really wanting to just get started, but he waited for Kay and Monkey to make the first move.

((Massive collabpost between me and isacus!))
Dawa wasn't sure what to do with Tarius' hand. She was not familiar with handshakes. She just stared at his hand, then the evil grin.
"Tarius...." she said, testing the pronunciation several times, but it sounded like 'Dawius'. "I'm Dawa" she finally responded, her accent thick.
Tarius tenatively removed his hand, seeing she didn't know how to respond.
"Yeah, Tarius. Hello Dawa. Looks like we'll be roomies." He spoke as slowly as he could, a hint of amusement in his tone.
Dawa was somewhat relieved he pronounced her name correctly. The men who had brought her in had started calling her Tara. It had not really annoyed her, but it was not her name, not in the way they meant it.
"you do not need to speak slowly. I understand well enough." She shifted a little uneasily, unsure how to ask her question. "Why are you here?"
The question hit Tarius like a fist in the face. He had never given that any thought, he just came here because it was offered to him, as a sanctuary, perhaps. He looked Dawa in the eyes, his face no longer a grin but a mesmerised expression.
"I guess... I'm just here to help out..." he shrugged, almost shaking his head at how wrong the statement was. "And you?"
"The ones who raised me thought I should be near others like me" she responded quite simply.
"So what are you then? You don't look like much..." Tarius said, grinning once more.
Dawa had to think on this for a while. The monks had never given a name to what she was. The agents who had brought her in hadn't given any thought to tell her what she was either.
"I am a woman that is sometimes a bird.... no, not bird.... " she had to think of the right name. "An owl. I am sometimes an owl"
Tarius raised an eyebrow. He he heard of, and seen, some strange things in his time, but this was new.
"So, you're basically a kind of food?" he chuckled, flashing some rather pointed teeth.
Dawa was somewhat startled by his comment. she wasn't sure if it was a joke or if he was serious. She decided to err on the side of caution.
"I am not food." she said rather defensively. "I just become something else. Is that bad? Do I not 'fit in' here?"
Tarius let out another chuckle. "Looks to me you fit in just fine with all the other freaks here... "
He leaned back on his pillow. "You could be food, if a werewolf were to hunt you down, perhaps?" he said, his grin turning even more wicked than it had been before.
Dawa was not comfortable being refered to as a freak. the monks had always told her that what she became was beautiful and that she had been blessed with a gift. It certainly did not feel like a gift right now.
"Werewolf? I do not know this word. Wolf I know, but not this one." she was trying to make connections in her mind. "Does it mean like me? to become wolf, like I am owl?"
Could it be more convenient? Tarius thought. He had been looking for an excuse to embrace his wolf form from the moment he went to the graveyard above them, and now, it seemed, his wish would come true.
"Well... Why don't we just find out what it means?" he stated more than asked and after a moment of concentration, he let out a low snarl. He inhaled deeply, and when he exhaled, his entire face elongenated, his limbs became swollen with muscle and his entire body sprouted fur. His pants were obviously ripped off, but he didn’t care, towering more than 7 feet above Dawa, looking down upon her. Without waiting to consider her expression, he let out a primal roar directly at her.
Her instant reaction was fear, but then she realized he was trying to intimidate her. The roar shook her to the bone, but she was not afraid of him, rather admired him for the strong, beautiful creature he was.
"There are others like me!" she said softly. She slowly stood and reach up to touch his muzzle as if to assure herself that this was real. "I'm not alone?"
Dayne was rather baffled at first, for he had never in his thirty four years of life gotten this kind of reaction, except from his parents. He came out of this state when he noticed a hand on his muzzle. He shook it violently to get it off and snarled into Dawa’s face, unintentionally (or was it?) letting some spittle fly into her face. He abruptly turned away from her, picked up his bag and locked himself in the bathroom. Tarius Dayne had just been defeated.
Dawa wasn't sure how to interpret his reaction as she wiped saliva from her face. Had she been rejected? Did he not like her? she slumped back onto the bed, confused. After a long moment, she let herself lay down. She curled up into a tight ball, wondering what to feel as she waited for Tarius to exit the bathroom so she could stop worrying about him. Slowly, her eyes began to become heavy. She hadn't realized she was so tired...

Vincent looked down at his cup after greeting the newcomers to the table. Otsanda and Alfred had explained their motives. Now it was his turn.
"I joined in hopes of tracking someone down...ever hear of the vampire murderer, Marcellus Wainwright? That's who I'm looking for. And when I find him, I'm going to tear his heart right out of his chest..." Vincent reached up to his chest and grasped his locket tightly. "Just like he did to my Amara..."

As Phoenix sat down at the table the humanoid nodded to him and said "Hola."
He didn't know Spanish very well, but he knew enough to know that meant hello. "H-hi," he replied softly
Soon after this, another humanoid approached the table. Their tray was floating somehow. Perhaps it was related to this "magic" thing he had heard about. Phoenix thought that he might want to try it out some time. “Mind if I have a seat?” He asked.
The female humanoid replied, “Si, off course! Nice to meet you.” Phoenix felt that maybe he should have done the same, and it made him a little self-conscious.
After the man sat down, the woman introduced herself and the others at the table, “I'm Otsanda, dat's Alfred and Vincent,” she then asked “What's your name?”
The man responded “Sebastian Crowley,” and shook Otsanda's hand. The other two at the table were looking at him strangely for a few seconds until he said “Oh... er... sorry about that. Force of habit.”
Phoenix wondered what all that was about, but he decided to save questions for later. He felt he should introduce himself as well, “My name is Phoenix Lestat.”
He listened to Vincent's story, but he wasn't ready to share his past and his reason for being here just yet, so he stayed quiet.

Otsanda was rather creeped out by Sebastian's 'handshake'. She tried not to show it, but failed. His explanation made no sense to her, but she put it down to bad translation and just nodded.
Then Vincent spoke.
Otsanda thought for a few moments. She wasn't exactly sure what Vincent had meant. Why did English get so confusing? "Er, you mean a vampire who is murderer, or someone who keel vampires?"
((Yes it should, TZ. thanks for pointing that out, mate.))

((Cheez, shouldn't that first Vincent be "Sebastian" instead?))
Vincent did his best not to scowl. He could tell that English wasn't the woman's first language, and that she wasn't trying to get smart with him. He gave her a small smile. "A vampire who is a murderer..." His expression hardened. "Nothing but scum..."
He could feel the others staring at him, and quickly tried to shift the attention to someone else. "So, what about you?" he asked toward Sebastian and Phoenix. "What are you here for?"

Sebastian seemed lost in thought for a minute, but then looked at the vampire. He took a few seconds to pull back the memory. "I was out on the streets. I think it was around 1am or so. I'm looking for a place to sleep, and the next thing I know I'm being confronted by this...thing."
He paused, trying to recall its appearance. "Actually, it looked like the things we saw down in the Necrarium. But anyway...I'm scared out of my mind. Suddenly I feel my arms moving, but they're still at my sides. Next thing I know the creature's being tossed into the wall over and over, like some rag doll. Then, after I stare at the thing's corpse, I hear my name from behind me.
"It was a man. I still don't know what he looked like...it was so dark. But he told me to come to Swan Point Graveyard..." He pointed upwards, which felt quite strange--though everything was strange here. "...because I was needed by 'George'. I wasn't sure what to do at first, but I finally came by after a month or so..."
He stopped and looked about, as if coming out of a trance. He grew a bit red, not used to having this many eyes upon him at once.
"Aren't you forgetting som--?" May started.
"Well, if I--" Sebastian caught himself, realizing that he was the only person who could hear her. He finished the rest in his head: Well, if I told them I had a dead chick living inside me, they'd probably move tables...
"Don't be foolish. Have you seen where you are?" May asked.
...Yeah, that's true. I'll tell them when I feel up to it... Sebastian gave another absentminded straightening of the bandages under his sleeve.

Alfred was a little shocked to feel an invisible hand give him a shake, but he was a walking skeleton so it didn't bother him too much. He sat and listened to the newcomers tell their tales about their purpose and journey here. They all sounded more exciting than his.
He noticed the boy push some bandages back into his jacket but he paid no mind to it. Alfred reached for his mug again but saw that it was empty. The cloak that was shrouding his face from the others fell back and exposed his bleached white skull. "Opps, a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. I hope I didn't scare you kids too bad." Alfred laughed his rattling laugh. He motioned for someone to refill his mug and it was.
"Well, we've got a table of a werewolf, a skeleton man, two vampires, and a human. What an interesting group we have assembled here." Alfred pulled at his arm until it came off at the elbow. It crawled on its fingers until it reached Otsanda and stopped. "I love doing that. But hey besides what you are, do you guys have any special abilities...like um magic or those of the sort?" His arm continued to fidget around Otsanda and then moved onto Sebastian.

"A vampire who is a murderer ... Nothing but scum..."
Otsanda nodded. that was a releif, in a way. If Vincent had meant a vampire killer, she doubted they would have been able to get on very well. Especially if he ever found out what Papa used to do.
She listened to Sebastian's story, then smiled as Alfred's arm crawled around the table. When he asked about powers, Otsanda shook her head and replied "Nah, I got no magic. I got a few skills er, more... convencional, though. Tracking, dat sort of thing."

When Vincent asked what he and Sebastian were doing, Phoenix hoped that Sebastian would start talking soon. He could feel everyone looking at him, he hated being in the spotlight and started to panic a little as it seemed Sebastian wasn't going to talk. After what seemed like a long time, Sebastian finally began to talk. Phoenix was relieved that everyone was watching Sebastian now, but he knew he couldn't avoid the question forever. Well, he wouldn't have to tell them everything, it might not be too bad. Still, he was going to try to avoid the question for a while.
Phoenix wasn't really listening to Sebastian, but he caught bits and pieces of what Sebastian was saying and wasn't sure what to make of it. Well, it doesn't really have anything to do with me anyway, he thought.
Alfred then asked if they had any special abilities, he felt comfortable answering this question, so he did. After Otsanda answered, of course. He wasn't the type to interrupt. "No, nothing like that," he said.
